Welcome !!
We're back!!!!
As most of you know, our lead singer Tammie left gracefully to concentrate on other interests. Meanwhile we were deciding the fate of the band and it was a group decision to keep going and with Tammie's wishes we gratefully kept the groups name.
So with a glimmer of hope and some thought for the future of Casual Six, a suggestion was made to try out Kristen Newlyn, Craigs (Tilii's) daughter.
This soon turned out to be a great idea and with a different sound we forged ahead with some of our favs - it seems some of these were penned long before Kristen was born, but that didn't matter she still had a go and sounded great!
It wasn't long before we had our first outing with Kristen at the PORT ADELAIDE DISTRICTS FOOTBALL CLUB on Saturday 4th April...what can we say but for a first timer to front a crowd of 'participating patrons'... it was nothing short of brilliant!!! As she eased into her first set with dad proudly looking on, the crowd soon warmed to her and kept the place rocking the whole night and from the rest of us Kristen, we say Well Done!!
